Their pick-up and drop-off procedures are cumbersome, with long queues. It all seems like a trap! Thrifty's human-computer interaction machines are very user-friendly. If you have already booked a car, you can have a video call with the company representative directly on the machine. It’s as good as talking to a real person, and everything can be done in a few minutes without having to queue at the counter. It’s surprisingly advanced and convenient.

I needed to extend the rental by a day and when I called in the first agent told me it would triple my rate. I declined as I still had to confirm I needed it and when I called back in they were able to honor the original promo price. Seems a little scammy to me or uninformed agents.
