First, there's no need to queue for pick-up, and the location is easy to find. Second, returning the car is very simple—just hand back the keys. Since it was around 9 PM, the staff didn’t come down to the parking lot for inspection, so I could leave directly.
1. I originally reserved a Veloz due to having quite a lot of luggage this time, but was given a Sienta instead upon pickup. The luggage capacity was inadequate, and I had to book an additional vehicle to address the issue. 2. While passing through a police checkpoint in Pattaya, I was stopped and informed by the police that the vehicle registration displayed on the car was expired. I was instructed not to drive further and immediately notify the vehicle owner, which was Hertz car rental. This caused inconvenience and delays for all passengers for about ten minutes before being allowed to proceed.
Thai people are quite nice. Even though I returned the car a day late, they didn't charge extra. But it's true that you can't reach them after office hours. (//∇//)
