No complaints with Europcar, excellent service at the desk. Made the collection process really simple and easy. Even though we got given a slightly different car than requested, the car we got was perfect. Brand new with all the extras. A real good quality car meaning our road trips was very comfortable.

I didn’t hesitate to use Qeeq for our 5 day trip to Tasmania after our excellent experience 2 years ago. Used Qeeq insurance too, and that made it a whole lot less stressful as I didn’t need to panic when some companies scare you into buying additional insurance as I knew I was all covered.
100% recommend Qeeq if you’re visiting Australia, their deals are spot on meaning you can get the car hire and insurance cheaper without missing out on quality cars. We’ll be back if we need to hire again!
Picked up the car at Launceston Airport, very convenient, you can see it right after getting off the plane. Car condition was good and both pickup and return were easy. Even though I don't speak English, it was no problem. The staff were very friendly.

Difficult to get a quote on comprehensive insurance and when i did, it did not match that quoted at the counter which was higher, the desk assistant was helpful in sorting this out
Europcar had non of our details in the system or any other customers so it was an over an hour to process six customers with only one member of staff on duty, created for a poor customer experience

I did not need to interact with Easyrentcar. One area for improvement would be a local Australian number for help, you have it for New Zealand, why make Australia call Singapore?
It transpired that the car allocated to us needed a service so after a long delay we were given a backup vehicle.
We received rather confusing information about our liabilities regarding accidents/ damage/breakdowns and for peace of mind we paid much more than anticipated in order to reduce these liabilities.
On inspecting the hire car we observed scratches along the length of one side and numerous marks elsewhere plus black marks all over the roof lining.
I returned to the reception to find it unmanned and after sometime I rang the two numbers left at the counter. Eventually someone arrived and we inspected the car together and obtained a signature to confirm our observations.
This long delay resulted in our arriving on the east coast with all accommodation taken and our only option was to drive for two more hours and take a family cabin which twice what we expected to pay.
This is by far the worst car hire experience we've ever experienced and wouldn't dream of using Europcar in the future.
I was embarrassed at the pickup counter because the staff asked whether to insure ir not. I explained that I had insured fully through your company. But the Eurocar staff said that any car accident happened then I had to pay $8000 to Eurocar and I could claim through your company. Is that true? Who is your insurance agent in Australia?
