Easy were easy.... Ezu was frustrating

When picking up the car, it didn’t have enough fuel. In Queenstown, there was only one staff member, and it took about an hour to get picked up and go to the company to get the car. When picking up the car, it didn’t have enough fuel.

The company upgraded us to a Nissan Teana for free. The handling was excellent.

We frequently contacted the rental company during our trip, and they were always very courteous. The only dissatisfaction was with the person who handled our rental process. They only mentioned that the car should be returned with a full tank but didn't provide any driving tips or local rules. If it weren't our second time driving in New Zealand, we might have missed many local regulations. The rental company should not only explain the charges but also inform drivers about local driving rules. The employee just parked the car at the entrance and left. They didn't verify the existing scratches in front of us nor mentioned that the car had a foot brake. For a driver unfamiliar with the car, there should be some explanation. I had to figure everything out on my own. If it were my first time driving locally, I would have been completely lost.

Exceeded expectations considering the low rental costs.

EZU charged me $ 1500 for scratches in the car that were already there. I noticed that they did this to many customers upon reading reviews. EZU is practicing fraud and should be put out of business.
