I rented the car for 4 days, covering approximately 1400 kilometers. I booked a Toyota Kluger (similar to the Highlander), but they replaced it with a RAV4 and told me it was sufficient. Only after insisting did I get the Kluger back. The person who attended to me was a Chinese who didn't speak Chinese, probably taking advantage of the fact that our English is not great. Don't let them confuse you! The $16.5 AUD per day unlimited toll fee package they recommended is optional. In reality, the drive (from Sydney to Gold Coast) was all on free roads, with no tolls. Don't be deceived!
