Average. I booked an automatic car, but after picking it up, I found out it was a semi-automatic. The D gear required manual shifting. Less than two kilometers after driving off, the fuel warning light came on. When returning the car, there was still more than 1/3 of the fuel left. I'm used to picking up a car with a full tank and returning it with a full tank as well.
Excellent experience! The car was very new. Right after I picked up the car, someone returned the model I had originally reserved, probably because the previous renter returned it late.
The reception at the front desk was indifferent, just going through the motions. The vehicle was not checked before handover, and the gas tank was not filled, allowing only 90 km of driving, which caused range anxiety. The vehicle's engine oil was also not checked, leading to warnings about low oil levels during the trip. The car couldn't be driven and, unfortunately, this vehicle lacked an oil dipstick, requiring computer diagnostics. When I called customer service for help, their attitude was very poor and they told me to handle it myself. Helpless, I had to seek remote assistance from a car service company back home. I ultimately resolved the issue myself, which cost me 20 euros—an expense I shouldn't have had to cover. If my English wasn't good, I have no idea how others would manage.
There are no direct-operated outlets on Crete Island, and this was not disclosed in advance when selecting cars during booking, which resulted in a significant waste of time during pickup.
Overall, I am quite satisfied. After arriving at the store, I waited 20 minutes to handle the paperwork. I booked an automatic but was given a manual at first. After my complaint, they changed it to an automatic. The car showed a range of 471 kilometers when I picked it up, and it showed 461 when I returned it. They charged me 20 euros for the missing 10 kilometers of fuel, which I think is a bit excessive!
