Highly satisfied with the car rental process. Picking up and returning the car were smooth, but there is an additional airport parking fee. Initially, I booked a Citroën, but they gave me a Hyundai of the same class instead. The Hyundai was not up to expectations - it felt underpowered, and the driver assistance features couldn't be turned off. Although it was a new car, it didn't feel very good. The rental company charged a deposit as a transaction, not a pre-authorization, and it took a month for it to be canceled. I was quite worried during that period.
I booked a car twice in Malta, and the car I reserved online was not available, misleading me. The same model of car was too small to fit two pieces of luggage. I had to pay an additional 90 euros to upgrade to a car with a larger trunk. Please ensure that unavailable models are not listed to avoid misleading customers!
