Dislike: The staff questioning military status

Like: The ease of picking up the rental car by using that kiosk, made it a breeze. No lines no wait which was great.

Like: Good, new, low mileage vehicle
Dislike: Being offered upsell when a larger vehicle was to be offered anyway. Check out assistant added on an unwanted Sat Nav Device charge when exiting the car park. Only noticed this on my credit card statement during the holiday. Had the charge removed promptly on returning the car.

The Alamo offline pick-up and return process is straightforward and the staff is friendly, with no cumbersome procedures. The high online ratings match the service we experienced. We booked a Chrysler 200 online but got a Nissan Altima; the young guy at the counter recommended a daily $6 upgrade.

Clearly tell the store staff that you do not want to purchase additional insurance.

Great service, easy check in, and I got to select my vehicle. All staff were extremely friendly. The worst part was the placement of the car rental services/difficulty getting there, at both the Atlanta airport and the Pensacola airports, however this is not a reflection on Alamo and its fantastic customer service as all other car rental services were in the same location.

Easy, simple process. All upgrade options there so no surprises at the price being paid at the desk on pickup.

This company offers low rates and has easily accessible locations.

Since the car exchange is done at the airport, it's convenient for those flying in, but not so much for those already at the airport. We found the Alamo company based on the signs, only to be told it was just a drop-off point, and the pickup point was elsewhere. We couldn't find the way to the pickup point, so we first returned the car at the Sixt company and then took the escalator to the pickup point. Since we had a lot of luggage, we borrowed a cart from the Alamo company. I have to say, their service was quite good. Maybe there aren't many people who come by car to rent a car like us, so we wasted a lot of time at the airport.
