The car I picked up was not the model I reserved, and it turned out to be an electric car. I have almost no experience driving electric cars, and the dashboard indicated the handbrake wasn't released, so the car wouldn’t move. When I asked the staff, they had no idea either, and there was only this one model available with no alternatives except switching to a manual. On top of that, the electric car’s battery drained extremely fast, and I could only buy charging service from the store, which ended up costing more than fuel.
No Budget sign at the booth. In fact it was running by Avis. No one at the counter have to wait for sometime.
Asking too many documents which I have never experienced. Once bought extra insurance things turned around. He became very nice. Blood face all he wanted was extra money.
Even though I filled up the tank and showed the gas station receipt, my credit card was still charged 27 euros after returning the car. Very angry. I advise everyone to safeguard your wallets and avoid renting from this company.
