We rented a Mercedes V class and the lady at the counter did not pre-warn us that we have to re-fill Ad Blue for diesel cars. We ended up have to fill up Ad Blue on our own.

Easy to use, will definitely rebook via Easyrenters.
The original model was an electric 5-door with a large trunk. On site, they said the same class of electric car does not have 5 doors. How can it be considered the same class if it doesn't have 5 doors? The staff said I would have to pay an extra 90 euros to upgrade to an Alfa Romeo or 60 euros to switch to a gasoline 5-door car. Whether electric or gasoline, the Fiat 500 is the cheapest model with the least space. How can it be considered the same as a 5-door car? Additionally, I checked the new electric Fiat 500 in recent years should have a range of over 400 km when fully charged, but this car showed only 200+ km at 96% charge. Clearly, the rental company deliberately bought the base model battery. After a round trip to Mataro for a meal, it had only about 40% left, so I had to pay an extra 28 euros for electricity. Furthermore, if not contested, the electricity cost is calculated as if it was 100% charged, not 96%. Even more absurd, the first car only had 81% charge. Be cautious when renting an electric car from this company and inspect everything thoroughly, including body scratches. The car checklist was also inaccurate, and if you're not careful, you might get charged for any damages when returning the car.

About Budget:6.0/10
The service was really slow. I had an appointment to pick up the car at 8 AM on June 6th, but only got the car around 9:30 AM. I rented the car for seven days, so if I picked it up at 9:30, I should have returned it before 9:30. However, they still required me to return it by 8 AM, and charged me nearly 30 euros for an hour delay.
They kept pushing insurance for a long time when I picked up the car, even though I said I had already bought insurance. The fuel cost issue after returning the car is still not clarified.
Use the machine to get a number first. They don't push too many add-ons. Just say you've already purchased everything, and they won't push further. Also, don't switch car models, it will change the price.
At Barcelona International Airport, this Budget company added comprehensive insurance fees without informing the customer. They used the customer's electronic signature without permission and engaged in deceitful practices, making it impossible to file a complaint. Although the amount of money involved is not large, their behavior is very malicious.
I didnt received the contract(the told me the will sent it by mail but the forgot)
When i received the car the lady at the counter spoke Spanish with me..I don't speak any.
When i brought the car back the service was just perfect.
“Very smooth but be prepared to wait s long time.”
About Budget:9.0/10
Waited over an hour at the pick up counter to get my rental that I prepaid online. And then waited another 20 minutes at the pick up location for the vehicle.
Budget accepted the booking and had my flight arrival time but when I arrived at the office it was closed leaving me stranded and having to book another car through Sixt who were extremely helpful and claimed it often happened with Budget. Other customers were also stranded in the same circumstances.
Although I will never be able to prove it, I do believe that Budget at El Prat ran a scam on me. I rented the car for one day for 17 euros. But they took me to the cleaners for 350 euros. 220 for repair, 40 for handling (??) and 80 for administration whatever (??). They found the smallest of scratches on the rear bumper. Most certainly it was there when I got the car but they make sure to just hand you the keys and make do for yourself to go over the car. The parking lot is dark and it is impossible for any driver to find these small scratches. But thats all part of the scam. I don´t know why I´m writing this. Not like anyone is going to read this or give a shit.
Never ever will I do business with Budget or Avis and I will tell everyone I know about this disgusting company and this horrible scam. And all the clerk could say, ´don´t worry, your insurance will pay´ Thats what these horrible people think makes it ok to be so disgusting.
