I booked in advance and arrived at the rental point early in the morning, only to be told there were no cars available... This seriously affected my schedule for the day. Very irresponsible.
The staff at the Granada branch spoke basic English. Upon arrival, we were informed that our originally booked VW GOLF was replaced with a similar class SEAT LEON, a diesel car with only 10,000 km, which was relatively new and performed well with good fuel efficiency. However, we were told that we had to purchase a basic insurance. After driving for tens of kilometers, the oil warning light came on. We called the 24-hour hotline to report the issue. Initially, after requesting English service, an English-speaking representative called back later, advising us to drive to Seville to get the car checked. In Seville, the branch resolved the issue in about half an hour. We finally returned the car at the Madrid train station. The entire process was quite smooth. If not for the extra insurance requirement, we would have given a full score.
The model was switched to a Renault wagon, which was smaller but priced the same, plus an additional 21% tax. There was only one automatic car available on-site, no choice given. Either you accept it, or you have no car. Unlike our previous self-driving trips in France and New Zealand where there were upgrade options. So what's the point of booking in advance? It seems the same as not booking at all! We didn't get the model we reserved. Under normal circumstances, a free upgrade should be given, but they just shrugged and said there were no cars available, take it or leave it. We had no choice but to accept it!
Terrible experience! Do not rent a car here. There are many traps in car rentals in Spain, so be warned! The rental company targets Chinese customers and pushes various additional services on you. If you don't accept, they will start to trick you! First, they insisted that I use my own chip card, and using my wife's card would cost an additional 200 euros for an additional driver fee. After repeatedly complaining to the rental agency and sitting in their office to protest, they finally accepted my card, proving it was always possible to process. Moreover, when picking up the vehicle, it felt like they just handed me a car and left. The car had only half a tank of fuel and numerous scratches, and they only responded that they had records when I raised these issues. When returning the car, there were indeed problems—they charged me for a full tank of fuel costing over 40 euros. Due to the pre-existing scratches, they almost tried to scam me for damages, but after repeated explanations, they let it go as the scratch was short. Lastly, I left my car charger in the vehicle; when I went back to retrieve it, they claimed not to have seen it. My wife later remembered seeing an employee take it but didn't react at the time! Throughout the entire ordeal, the car rental platform provided almost no support. Customer service was slow and unhelpful! I hope future customers see this review and take precautions. Don't fall into their trap and cause yourself trouble!
The service was very good. However, the return location was underground, and neither QEEQ nor the rental company mentioned this. I spent nearly an hour circling around Plaza de España and still couldn't find it. In the end, I had to park the car on the roadside and call their staff. They sent someone to pick me up, and that's how I finally found the place. But by then, I didn't have time to refuel the car, and I was fined 18 euros. The rental company staff also admitted that their return location is very hard to find, with only a small sign at the entrance of the underground parking. Moreover, there used to be two entrances, but now only one is open. They expressed their helplessness about the situation as well. You definitely can't find it just by using GPS. While I was handling the return procedures, several people called to ask how to get there.

Terrible. They said I only needed to pay 202 euros, but I ended up paying an extra 40 euros. I only found out it was for additional insurance after I complained. They didn't explain this extra insurance at the time.
The sales staff at the store handed us a Spanish-language contract to sign without informing us! They secretly charged us for expensive insurance and a full tank of fuel! It's outrageous; I'll never rent from this company again. The rental platform took my deposit but merely reserved a spot for me. When I arrived at the store, the staff completely ignored my order and issued a new high-priced contract. The rental platform is now blaming a third party to avoid responsibility. I won't book through this platform again. Everyone needs to be cautious when renting a car.
Arrived at the rental company with no queue and still waited an hour to get the car. No one conducted a vehicle handover. This resulted in scratch marks upon return being blamed on me.
