You can walk to the counter of ASIA CAR - Penang Airport car rental.

Car Pick-up Guide The Penang Airport store is located at counter 5 inside the airport terminal car rental center. Please follow the signs for Galaxy Asia Car to reach the airport counter. Once you have collected your luggage, turn right at Gate 6 in the arrival hall and you will see the car rental counter. If you are picking up the car outside of business hours, please contact the store in advance. Additional fees of MYR80 will be charged from 19:00-21:59, MYR150 from 22:00-23:59, and MYR250 from 00:00-07:59. The store operates as usual during holidays. Drop-off Instructions

The Penang Airport store is located at the counter 5 counter (Car Rental) in terminal Penang airport. Please sign the Galaxy Asia Car to the airport counter according to the vehicle line. Please contact the store in advance if you want to pick up the car after operation hours. The extra charge (MYR80) will be charged by the staff at 19: 00-21: 59, and the extra charge (MYR150) will be charged at 22: 00-23: 59,(MYR250) will be charged at 00: 00-07: 59. The counter staff speaks good English and explains every process to me clearly including the deposit which he swaps my cc and show me it's just for pre-auth.     There was only one counter staff and she was not at the counter when we arrived. She was away from the counter for 10mins as she had to settle a dropoff of another customer. Collection process took approx 15 mins which includes paperwork and brief intro to the car. As there was another fellow customer before us, the total waiting time was approx 25mins before our turn. Total time to collect the car was approx 45mins.

    Yes, they upgraded us to a bigger van (at no additional charge) as the one we booked was not available at the time. we also arrived later, by 2:30 hours as there was a delay in our flight but I was in constant communication with galaxy asia staffs and they were in fact the 1st one to inform me of my flight delay without me knowing! (means they were actually tracking my arrival!) Kudos to the team. Upon arriving, pick up was seamless and they gave very clear instructions. Best ever rental I've worked with so far in the few years of renting !

    Avoid renting from a company called Galaxy Asia Car Central in Malaysia. This Chinese-owned rental company scams Chinese customers. I picked up the car in Penang and dropped it off in Kuala Lumpur. When I picked up the car, I recorded a video showing some scratches on the front left bumper. The staff told me I had full insurance, so no worries. However, when I returned the car at KLIA2, their inspection was extremely thorough, almost like a safety car scan. I've rented cars all over the world and have never seen such a meticulous inspection when returning a vehicle. The person even used a light to check the undercarriage. Is this not intended to extort money? They said there were new scratches on the front left bumper. I insisted I hadn't been in any accidents. They reviewed my video, stated that the scratches were new, and demanded payment. This infuriated me—isn't this daylight robbery? I argued that, even if I did cause the scratches, insurance should cover it. They replied that I need to pay upfront and would be refunded after the insurance claim. Another customer was experiencing the same issue at the same time, being told there were scratches on his car's undercarriage. This company specifically targets Chinese customers for extortion. After some phone calls, they reversed their stance, admitting it was their mistake and the damages were pre-existing. Since we were at Terminal 1 and the car was at Terminal 2, I asked for a shuttle service, but they refused, saying they don't offer that service and were not willing to help. This has been the worst car rental experience ever. I will never return to Malaysia.

    Avoid renting from this company in Malaysia, called Galaxy Asia Car Central. Chinese car rental companies are all scams, and they bully Chinese customers. I told them even if it was my fault, the full insurance should cover it, and besides, I didn't cause those scratches. They insisted that I would have to pay first and get a refund after filing an insurance claim. Coincidentally, another car returned at the same time had the same issue with alleged new scratches on the undercarriage. This company clearly targets Chinese customers. In the end, since I had full insurance, they made a few calls and then said it was their mistake and the damage was originally there. We were at T1 terminal, but the car was at T2 and they refused to provide a drop service. Renting a car in Kuala Lumpur is the worst experience I have had worldwide. I will never come back to this country.

    This is the first ever bad experience i had when i return the car to ASIA CAR. when i was arrived at the airport and calling the staff come over to collect the car but called them 5 times nobody pick up the phone and 20 minutes later one staff pickup the phone with her low tone voice can`t even hear what she talking about .finnally she came over to the car and i told her i have a tight schedules and i haven`t return the gasoline to FUll level.and i said i can paid the sum of (HALF TANK) gasoline here, it just only take RM 50 to RM 70 in everage, but she said i have to paid Rm 130 in total as a penalty. I have not get any decriptiuon from the staff of the penalty in gasoline before i departure .
