You can walk to the counter of Alamo - Cairns Domestic Airport car rental.

Upon arrival please be on the lookout for the Enterprise counter located in the arrivals hall of the airport terminal. Your rental will be serviced there. The car rental counter is located in the arrivals hall of the Cairns International Terminal. Once you have cleared customs you will exit into the Arrivals hall. Proceed to the rental counter on the right hand side of the arrivals hall where we will arrange your rental agreement.

We would like to complain. The car seat in which we ordered wasn't fitted to the vehicle. It was placed in the car for us to fit. The $70 fee was still charged at location and we don't feel the service was met. If we had of known this we would have saved our money and bought our own with us. Very disappointed with Alamo and won't be using them again. The whole process was very stressful in the heat after a long flight with our toddler.

Fantastic customer service at the counter from the lady and two guys there. The car was good and the whole process easy. The only let down was we were waiting in the international terminal desk for ages before reading a sign on the Euro car desk saying pick up was in domestic. Wish Alamo had a sign up.
