The service was very good, but I'd purchased the car with reduced excess through easyrenters.com and when I arrived at the office, goldcar attempted to sell me the same excess despite that being obvious through the booking.
Also, slow to return the deposit.
The car i ordered was not an equivalent size when i arrived and so was a struggle to get all of our cases in safely with the people and no other larger cars where available.
The fuel and insurance add-ons when picking up the car and the size of the deposit for the size of the car was extortionate

We have been charged extra for having another person on the car, but we asked at the desk and were informed this was for free. Subsequently, I have been charged over £40 by my credit card including interest, this was never meant to happen and has affected my credit rating.
It is a shame as we come to that airport often and always need to hire a car, but this has tainted my experience and probably wouldn't use you again.

Only fault is the pick up is 10 minutes off site and they only have 1 shuttle bus operating so this can cause a bit of a wait outside the airport also no instructions or signs to tell you where to stand and wait. Tip : exit the airport cross to the central reservation and wait about 30 meters on the left.
I had an amazing experience with Centauro, staff was really friendly and helping, they manage my booking efficiently and quick, the car was brand new and really clean. I highly recommend centauro due to price and service and avoid Goldcar! They rip you off.

Love EasyRentCars, I was using other platforms but from now on just easyrentcars
We were told we had to pay £50 in airport taxes but on closer inspection this was due to the car being a new diesel one - none of which we asked for. We have tried disputing this but the staff wouldn't give us a car without us paying it. We'll never use them again
car size was as expected. office was a little too far away. car was full of scratches but didn't affect the drive. all in all, terrific value for money

The staff were excellent, condition of car great and excellent value for money! Only comment I'd make is some guidance on the car itself would have been good - we struggled with the built in sat nav. We could have gone back to the counter and asked but as I had my own one with me we just used that.
I have used goldcar once before and this was in January 2019 when I booked with Ryanair. The staff at the desk in Alicante were a bit rude and insisted that I pay another airport service charge although I had already paid this when I booked the car hire through Ryan air car hire. I paid the airport charge as they insisted that I had to before I could have the car and told me that it was nothing to do with them that I had already paid it. They tried to do exactly the same this time but I had a copy of your booking firm and it said what was included and clearly stated was airport charge. He wasn’t happy when I showed him the form and said they didn’t normally deal with your company but he then I think accepted it. I will only find this out when I contact my credit card company.
The car was a Fiat panda and had lots of damage on it, too much really for me to record at the time so I left the car where it was and took lots of photos. Whilst I was completing the paperwork there were 2 other customers having heated arguments with the staff about the service they had received as well so my complaint is obviously not the only one.
When I returned the car they tried to say that I had caused damage to the door mirror - this damage was obviously very old and had definitely not been caused by me. Fortunately I had a photo of this on my phone and he accepted this.
I will not be using goldcar again as the 2 experiences I have had with them have both been bad.

Everything was very good and I will use the company again. I travel to Spain quite a lot - my next trip will be 17th may so I need a company I can trust to rent a car from.
When I arrived to collect the car there were no signs for Rhodium Car Hire. Eventually I was told by a stranger that they were actually Goldcar. If I had known I would have to deal with Goldcar I would not have made the booking. They are the worst company in Spain. Because I never took their extortionate insurance they managed to find 2 small scratches on the car when I returned it. They have charged me E500.00 to repair them. The work to fix them would only require 10 minutes of polishing and they were probably there in the first place but because the car was freshly waxed and polished I could not see them. I travel to Spain very regularly and this is the first time I have used the new Murcia airport so my choice of car hire was limited. In future I will use Alicante airport and go back to car hire companies that I know I can trust.
Car was better than I had booked, so top marks there.
Fell foul of the fuel policy (fuel to empty, but only used half a tank). Drop off at Corvera airport is not good; difficult to find office and where should car be parked? Car not checked on return.

Airport pick up sign for 'centauro' would have helped to identify the pick up location.
Only one mini bus who needed to do 3 trips for passengers on the same flight.
Not expecting any extra fees beside fuel but was told i had to pay a 25 euro service charge for fuelling the car on top of cost of fuel.
Then the car we were given first had a engine management warning light on so we could not drive away and had to have a car change, all in the pouring rain !
