Alamo Car Rental is very professional. Showed the rental slip at pickup and drove off with the car in a minute. For drop-off, just handed over the keys and left. I expected some additional charges like a car wash fee, but there were no extra costs. Simple and fast.

Good experience, no upselling. Unlike Budget, they didn't mess up the order intentionally.

The line for picking up the car in Las Vegas was extremely long, taking more than half an hour to line up and over an hour to get the car! I originally booked a mid-size SUV, Jeep Grand Cherokee, through QEEQ. However, upon arrival, I was given a standard SUV, Kia Sorento. I don’t know if it was QEEQ or Alamo that switched the vehicle. The most frustrating part was that when returning the car in LA, even though I had refueled it completely, Alamo charged me an FSO fee, which is for refueling services, costing about $50. The Alamo sales representative insisted that we buy additional personal liability insurance, saying that our package did not include it. We went back and forth for over an hour. Later, we carefully looked at the car rental receipt and saw that it did include the additional insurance (though only the state's minimum coverage). We discussed this with the manager on duty and had them sign. Surprisingly, they then said, 'You can choose to buy this insurance if you want.' In conclusion: we were initially misled into buying it, but then we got a refund. It was a very unpleasant experience.
