The service was good. When returning the car, they tried to say that the existing scratches were caused by us, but upon showing the photos taken during pickup, the staff said it was okay.

The provided car did not match the one I reserved. The description mentioned it could fit three suitcases, but it could only fit one 24-inch and one 20-inch suitcase. They kept trying to upsell me on a car upgrade and insurance. The car had many scratches on the driver's door.

1. I already purchased full insurance on Zuzuche. When picking up the car, I told the staff in English that I didn't need insurance. They gave me a contract in French and pointed out a €950 charge, explaining that it was the deposit and emphasized that it was a credit card pre-authorization, not a fee. However, the €950 included €650 for insurance, which wasn't mentioned at all. The entire insurance contract was in French, which I couldn't understand. As it was my first time renting a BENZ V-Class car, I accepted the €950 deposit as reasonable and signed the contract, not realizing I had bought extra insurance. After returning the car and coming back home, I received three invoices from the car rental company for €650 in insurance and two €875 car damage fees. Despite already having the company's insurance, I was charged a total of €1750 for car damages.

It was really easy to book the car everything was in details so had no question. The app has handy details for pick up and drop. The customer service was excellent as they really responded very well to queries and also helped in case I was unable to contact Europecar. Overall it was excellent experience.

The car was brand new and we enjoyed the overall experience from Pick up the whole drive and drop off Benjamin the person who assisted us while pick up was very helpful and joyful person
