ピックアップの場所では従業員が二人とも不機嫌そうな顔をしていた。列に並ばず、全体の感じは普通で合格です。借りた車は洗車されておらず、店員が先に洗車に出かけた。車を返す時はバグで、車を返す場所は私達に店の駐車位置がすでにいっぱいだと知らせて、私達は40通りの外の1つの場所に行って車を返すことを要求します(更に店員は言って、Avisまで車を返すことができて、事実は悲劇です)、少なくとも5台以上の車は手配に従って、相手まで行ってBudgetはすでに閉まっています。このBudgetの隣にいるAvisに聞いてみると、実はAvisはBudgetの車を相手にしてくれない。引き返して元の店に戻り、店員とのやりとりを繰り返してレンタカーの前まで返すことができた。Budgetでは、返却予定の注文をきちんと管理できておらず、返却店員も困っていました。満足

The store's service attitude was terrible. They accepted the order even though there were no cars available. It took more than three hours to get a car. The air conditioning also had issues. This is the first time I've encountered a car with air conditioning problems.

“多少割高でも空港借り・返却を！”

できるだけ安くにと思い，マンハッタンのBudgetで予約しました． Immigrationが長蛇の列で，入国に3時間ほどかかり，レンタカー借り出し予定にしていた時間に間に合わいませんでした．そのため，コンパクトカーを予約していたのですが，遅れたことを理由に，ばかでかいSUVを一日40ドルプラスで借りるように言われ，仕方なく従いました． マンハッタンのブランチへは，地下鉄を降りて15分ほどスーツケースを転がしていかねばならず，猛暑の中，歩くのに疲れました． 返却後は，お土産の荷物も増え，また地下鉄まで歩くのかと辟易し，結局Uberを呼んで空港まで行きました．できるだけ安く，というのは意味がなく，調査不足でした． 次回からは多少料金がかかっても，空港で借りて空港で返却するのが正解だと思いました．
