Car was ok but not very clean. Windscreen had fly marks over it and inside bottom of doors were dirty.
Service guy at pick up didn’t inform me of deposit charge. Drop off was easy.
It was a busy time and I found the counter staff member wasn't very friendly and didn't have time to explain anything to me. He literally said "I don't have time for this, gotta move on", this was in response to me asking for more details on the Toll system in Austin after he was trying to sell a toll pass to me.
Staff were efficient. Not overly warm and engaging. Just perfunctory.
The vehicle while well equipped and ran well, was not washed and quite dirty inside. Surprising for Avis who normally represent a quality experience.
