New Orleans was amazing! Great food and fun! Picked up the car from downtown in the morning, headed towards the mouth of the Mississippi River. After exploring the area, returned to downtown for lunch with wild boar meat, then visited Lake Pontchartrain in the north, which has the world's longest bridge over a lake. There's no toll when leaving downtown, but there's a toll in the opposite direction. After enjoying the lake scenery, we returned to our accommodation, switched to bikes for a ride around the city, then went back, took a shower, and walked to town to visit bars, watch fireworks, and have dinner. Later, we went to sleep, woke up at around 3 a.m., drove to the airport, and flew home. [Hidden]

予約したのは小型車だったのに、引き取りの際に小型車はなく、巨大なピックアップトラックを押し付けられました。まるでリンゴを買おうとしているのにスイカを無理に売られるような感じです。現地の白人の責任者は態度が傲慢でしたが、一緒にいた人が英語できたので、理論的に抗議し、何とか小型車を手に入れましたが、時間が40分以上も遅れてしまいました。誰が注文を勝手に変更する権利を与えたのか知りませんが、契約を重んじる国ではないのでしょうか。
