The car rental company is conveniently located right in the airport terminal. The rental process is simple and quick, and returning the car is also very easy and fast.
There were no clear instructions for returning the vehicle. A red area was marked as the return zone, so I parked there, but I was informed that a 5.7 euro fee was required. Later, I was told I had parked in the wrong area. Even as a French speaker, I made a mistake. The return agent mentioned that many others make the same error and suggested having clearer instructions.
I landed at 8 AM and booked the car online, but when I reached the rental point, they said I had to wait 3 hours for the car because it was a last-minute booking. However, the online system confirmed immediate pickup. This caused me to cancel, and I had to deal with a series of issues regarding the prepaid amount online.
The counter staff tried to sell more insurance by lying that the car I reserved was no longer available. Thankfully, QEEQ's customer service was very helpful and negotiated to ensure I got the car I wanted.
The staff spoke French-accented English, and the vehicle provided was not the VITO we booked, but a used car with high mileage.
