I had purchased full insurance from Zuzuche, and Zuzuche had informed Hertz about this. However, Hertz still added full insurance costing over $300 without asking me, which is about two-thirds of the total cost for my 11-day rental. In addition, they charged more than $60 for 'store service fee' and over $60 for VAT, totaling $479. I have not received any breakdown from Hertz for these charges. I only learned about these charges by inquiring with Zuzuche. Six months ago, I rented a car from Thrifty through Zuzuche, and there were no such issues; I received the bill immediately after returning the car. Hertz is an internationally known company, yet they are so deceptive and non-transparent. I hope to get an explanation from Hertz.

It took almost an hour to find the return location in Heidelberg (near the symphony orchestra). The address could not be found on two different GPS systems, which was really frustrating. Everything else was fine.
