He couldn't speak English but roughly meant that we only needed to return the car with approximately the same fuel level. When we returned the car with the same fuel level, they didn't say anything. However, after returning home, my credit card was charged. Luckily, I kept the contract and photos of the fuel gauge taken at the start. I contacted the rental agency through the rental platform, and it has been almost two weeks without a response. They said it would take up to 28 working days to process. This was my fourth time renting a car in Europe, and it was the first time experiencing such poor service from a company!
