The price, car, and the service were all excellent! Only complain is that Routes should open earlier, I had a 7 am flight and they do not open until 6am. Even so the staff quickly processed my return and took me to the airport.
This is the second time we’ve used Routes in Orlando and they’ve been great for us!
We’ve had great cars both times and gotten an amazing deal each time as well!
When we arrived at counter to pick up car, all the staff disappeared into back office. After about 20 minutes standing around waiting I decided to knock on office door to find an employee. About 10 minutes later a staff member emerged from the back and rudely stated to me "I was using the bathroom, is that ok?" By this time, we had been travelling with small children all day and the last thing we needed was a bunch of attitude. Finally got the car after about an hour (they said they had to clean the car before we took it, which we said we didn't need). Upon returning the car, we were told we'd be charged $250 for clean the little bit of sand on the rugs. I sat in the parking lot shaking the floor mats out. Even the shuttle driver said he'd never heard of such a thing and would tell the manager. Very unprofessional. Very rude. Apathetic employees. Takes way too long.
Like: I rented a Nissan Rogue, but ended up with a Jeep Wrangler with navigation. Our flight was delayed and the airport was a MESS. By the time we made it to the rental place, it was 4 to 5 hours after my expected pickup. They didn't have any Rogue's left but they gave me the Jeep for the same price. It was a nice unexpected surprise after all the other travel issues. It was clean, new and Awesome! Thank you for a sweet week!
