First time using QEEQ. The airport counter was easy to find, but the 7-seater car was a bit old and had average condition with 80,000 kilometers on it.
Completely dissatisfied!! It was mentioned that there would be Chinese customer service, but I could never get through on the phone. We had a language barrier. When we returned the car after it got damaged, we were charged an additional 600 MYR on our credit card without any notification, even though the damage assessment was done on-site and we agreed to it. Two hours after we left, they charged us again claiming the initial amount wasn't enough for repairs. They should have informed us. We had already checked repair costs locally, and the initial assessed amount was sufficient. It's been a month, and this issue is still unresolved. While it was our fault the car got damaged, they should communicate any additional charges. It's irresponsible! I advise everyone against renting from this company. The process is super slow, the office is hard to find, and there's a significant language barrier. Their English isn’t even proper English.
The car pickup was fairly smooth, the counter was easy to find, and they took us to the car for inspection. Returning the car was extremely troublesome; we couldn't find the parking lot at all. We circled the airport several times and, in the end, couldn't figure it out. We gave a policeman 50 MYR to lead us back. We had less than two hours left to catch our flight.
I rent a car about four to five times a year, always from EUROPE CAR. Their service is quite good. You don't need to worry about too many things, just simple renting. You can feel at ease.
I booked a car at 3 AM in Kuala Lumpur, but had to wait for a long time with no one around. The contact number provided didn't respond. I asked airport staff to help, and they said a friend would bring the car to the KLIA2 rental counter, but no one showed up for ages. The final picture showed that we were still checking the vehicle at 04:40 AM, while my family and I were already at the airport, waiting for two hours without any proactive assistance from them. I am still pursuing my rights! If anyone has the same experience, feel free to contact me, and we can take legal action together.
The car wasn't exactly what was advertised but it was pretty similar. And the car was in really good condition. I would recommend it.
