The pickup location was dirty! The car's interior was very unclean! They promised 'return with an empty tank', but the contract stated 'return with a full tank'! We were supposed to get a Ford Explorer 7-seater but received a small Dodge 7-seater SUV instead. Seven people cramped together. How should I rate this???
This was the worst car rental service I've ever encountered. On the day of my reservation, I arrived at the rental office and waited for half an hour, only to be told that the car I reserved was not available. I had booked a 7-seater Chevrolet Tahmo, which is a full-size SUV. Instead, they prepared a small SUV for me. When I asked for a reason, they claimed the Tahoe couldn't fit 7 people, so they switched it. They even suggested me to pay extra for a 12-seater van. After two hours of back and forth with customer service and the store staff, they finally admitted they had downgraded my reservation. They offered to compensate by upgrading me to a 12-seater van for free. Due to its large size, the van caused many issues during the trip. High fuel consumption, high toll fees, and many places restricted its entry. The worst part was finding a parking spot in Washington. Couldn't enter garages lower than 7 feet. Took 2 hours to find a parking slot and spent around 500 RMB for parking in 4 days.
Speaking of the New York store staff, they were initially evasive and irresponsible with an arrogant attitude. When I contacted customer service, the staff refused to communicate with them. There were no instructions when they finally gave me the car. Overall, a very unprofessional experience.
The queue was extremely long, waited for 45 minutes. The Europeans ahead were having trouble with the language, and they took forever deciding over a $6 insurance fee.
Haven't received the prepaid deposit yet, not sure if the refund process is fast. The staff tried to sell insurance but we declined. Later, they charged another unknown deposit. When asked, they said it was a prepayment. Still unclear about the situation. Will wait for the refund to be processed.

I made a reservation for a Chevrolet Suburban. We received after a waiting time of more than 2,5 hours (NY, 49th street) a Ford Flex with 50% gas in it. This car did not meet the rented type, nor our expectations. The only comment I got: " we have no other cars, you can go to any airport in the US to change it for a Subrurban type". They did not bother to make a phone call or anything else. I went to La Guardia and Kennedy Airport without result. People there were friendly, but could not help me, because my "request to change" should have been reported upfront..... I finally managed to change the car at Warwick Airport near Providence. I cannot believe such a bad service.
