They promoted insurance products and the queue time was long. Chose the expensive Hertz because I was in a hurry.

Overall, it was quite good. The only downside might be the long wait in line.

It felt like the agents in Los Angeles were particularly aggressive in upselling insurance to improve their performance. Regardless of your understanding, they would pitch it to you. There was even one instance at the Los Angeles airport branch where an agent falsely claimed that insurance was legally required when we specifically asked about it. However, when we returned the car and spoke to the manager, they resolved the issue efficiently, and we were refunded the full amount including taxes on the spot.

Dollar offers good value for the price, and both the pickup and return processes are very convenient. However, it seems that Dollar has fewer cars compared to Avis, at least judging by the parking lot. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
