The booked BMW 3 Series was unavailable and downgraded to a Peugeot 308 with five seats. The staff initially had a poor attitude and tried to make me accept the downgrade by offering a half-tank fuel return. Later, after contacting Rentalcars.com customer service, Hertz finally admitted the downgrade. Currently waiting for after-sales compensation.
When we arrived at the rental location, we were told there were no automatic cars available and were directed to rent on-site from another car company. After extensive negotiations, we were instructed to go to the airport to pick up the car ourselves. Upon arrival, we were further delayed and charged an extra 69 euros for airport parking. Overall, the service was inefficient, the staff were rude, and the experience was unreliable.
The staff were very nice, but there was an issue with the credit card during pickup, so it took a long time to complete the process. Later, the car had a minor issue, and I couldn't reach the international customer service number, which was quite frustrating. Eventually, I managed to resolve it myself.
