The overall service was okay, but the car provided was much smaller than the model I booked. It barely fit two small suitcases, and there was no extra room. The car felt unstable while driving and had air leaks.
The rental company charged extra fees and duplicate charges. The order already included taxes, a one-way fee, and service charges, yet double charges were applied. Total: 100 + 25.5 + 55.11 = 180.61 euros, approximately 1444.88 RMB (180.61 × 8). The contract detailed a payment of 122 euros at the store, but the actual payment was 301.95 euros.
The battery was completely dead and wasn't detected or replaced in time, which led to a breakdown during the trip. After calling the emergency support hotline, we waited in the snow for 3 hours with no assistance. Eventually, we had to buy a new battery at our own expense to get the vehicle working.
Hertz was great; they promptly helped us resolve any car issues during the trip.
