The staff were very friendly and patient. They clearly explained the terms and rules, provided a map to collect the car, and confirmed twice that we had the parking lot exit card. They also explained the insurance issues very clearly. During the car inspection, they marked any issues on the car.
The car rental company was very professional and friendly. However, they did not accept the insurance we purchased domestically. In case of any vehicle accident or scratch, they will directly deduct 5000 AUD for repairs. This is something to be aware of. Fortunately, we didn't encounter any issues, but if something happens, claiming this 5000 AUD through domestic insurance could be very troublesome!
The pick-up and drop-off locations are clearly marked and easy to find. The procedures are simple and quick, and the service attitude is quite good. It offers better value for money compared to Apex. Our booked Cruze was upgraded for free to a Mitsubishi ASX. Although both are in the same category, an SUV is more suitable for some gravel sections on the Great Ocean Road and in the National Forest Park. The deposit required for car rental is relatively high (2,500 AUD). As it has not yet been refunded, this part of the review is currently unavailable.
