The car was in excellent condition, almost new with only 6000 kilometers. We originally booked a Camry, but it was upgraded to a business class vehicle for free.

We refueled before returning the car, but the gas station was 4 kilometers away from the return point. By the time we got there, the fuel gauge was just a bit short of full. The staff insisted on charging us 26 CAD or asked us to refuel again. Very dissatisfied, this never happened in Europe.

Hertz is a absolutely professional with excellent customer care services. It took me less than 10 minutes to do the paperwork and collect my car. Their cars are clean.

Easyrentcars is my favourite car rental booking website.

Like: We were offered an upgrade to a 2018 Volstwagon Passat which had more leg room and trunk space than the booked car. We were very happy with the fuel efficiency, how the car drove and quality of the vehicle.
Dislike: We were under the assumption that Hertz would fill the tank for us at their discounted rate, however didn't know that they would charge us for a full tank regardless of how much fuel was in there.
