Apart from the lack of a 360-degree camera, it had everything. There are many winding roads in the South Island, and local drivers take corners very quickly.

Picking up and dropping off the car right at the airport is very convenient. The Hyundai IMAX 8-seater we rented was very spacious and new, comfortably seating six adults, though it lacked power going uphill, which we had anticipated. The staff at Budget were friendly and the pickup process was quick. Highly recommended!
