1. The vehicle return process was made exceptionally painful and time consuming in that (a) Pisa airport signage is very poor in terms of guiding you to the car rental return location; and (b) the SicilybyCar return process out in 30C + heat was manned by only one very willing but very very overwhelmed staff member. Tempers were seriously frayed and I’m not sure how the staff member in question was able to remain calm under intense verbal pressure.
2. Found out at check in that the excess elimination insurance that I bought worked in an unusual way in That I would have to pay Sicily by Car up to €1600 and then reclaim that somehow or other from Easyrentcar or the insurer direct. This should be brought out in BOLD type in your terms and conditions as it is most unusual in my frequent experience of renting vehicles
Shocking service. Had to wait an hour and a half on pick up which was pretty much the same amount of time to fly there. Staff were rude and not very helpful. Would never use again
