When I arrived 30 minutes early to pick up my car, the first staff member told me to come back in 15 minutes. When I returned after 15 minutes, another staff member told me to wait another 15 minutes. This was really frustrating.
The car pickup is not at Terminal 3; you have to take the skytrain to Terminal 1. There was a minor scratch on the lower right front corner, so I took a photo. When returning the car, the staff exaggerated and said it would cost seven or eight hundred. They told me the amount would be deducted from my credit card. I informed them that my rental insurance covers all costs and asked them to discuss it with my rental company.
I booked a car for 11 o'clock, but when I arrived, they said there were no cars available. The car I booked wasn't returned on time, so they had to reschedule. Fortunately, I got the car by 1 PM. There were no aggressive sales pitches as rumored. The return process was very simple and quick, everything was done within five minutes. Overall, it was a good experience.

I was truly disappointed that at time of drop off Thrifty refused to provide a local ride to my work (less than 3 km), even though it is indicated they provide pickup and drop off rides to their customers at their website.
The staff simply indicated that they are busy and cannot provide rides at time of drop off! I had to hire a taxi for $15..
Also, instead of a pre authorization for a deposit, Thrifty had already charged me $350 for a deposit which I have not yet received back post 4 day.
