I am sure no stone chips hit the windshield during our use, so I believe the damage was already there. Unfortunately, due to our oversight during pickup, we didn't have evidence. If the company intends to exploit consumers with damaged cars, it’s hard to avoid. Due to our flight schedule, we had to pay ISK 150,000 in advance for insurance claims. This experience reminded me that for future international car rentals, it’s better to choose a reputable global company.
