Over charged me the cross border fee. Charged more than 200 euro for tiny scratches under the bumper. Avoid.

During pickup, the attendant just threw me the keys and left. I had to call him back three times. It was 11 PM, very dark, and the inspection was rushed. It was my first time renting a car and I had no experience. My local SIM card didn't have signal (though it was a VIP card). During return, they even took photos under the vehicle saying there were scratches. There was an old, tiny rusted scratch that they claimed was my fault. If it were indeed my fault, I'd own up to it, but I've been driving for 13 years and would know. Though I'm a female driver, I drive 5000 km annually on rough roads in Yunnan-Guizhou, China. My skills are not bad.

The staff at the outdoor pick-up location seemed a bit inattentive. During my first pick-up, they forgot to give me the vehicle registration. When I returned to the airport, they claimed I lost it and asked me to pay a 186 euro fee for the loss. As it was impossible to determine who was at fault, I had to pay the fee. They then gave me a replacement car and claimed they had already given me the keys, but later I found out the keys were still with the same staff member. Overall, the staff at the pick-up location were subpar, making it an unpleasant car rental experience.

The weather was cold and rainy. We were asked to drag our luggage to the parking lot, but there was no car available there. We were told to wait for five minutes, but it took about twenty minutes. It was 0 degrees and raining, and after such a long wait, a car with a flat rear tire arrived. We found out and were told we had to wait another hour to change cars. It was too cold, so we dragged our luggage back to the airport to wait. The process was inefficient, and the pick-up staff were very rude with a heavy accent in English, and got impatient when asked to speak slower. We were the only ones renting a car that day, but it took a total of three hours to finally depart.

The car pickup process was fine, but the drop-off at the airport was very unsatisfactory. The main issue was that they did not acknowledge the existing scratches on the front right bumper and insisted it was our fault, claiming it wasn't recorded in their system. When we picked up the car, the Eurocar staff was very careless and didn't confirm with us if there were any issues with the lower front right area. They just did a rough check and only documented some scratches after we insisted. During the return, they focused on the areas that weren't confirmed initially and blamed us, even though it was clearly old damage. They just said it wasn't recorded in their system, so it was our responsibility. Additionally, they asked us specifically about our insurance coverage and, upon learning we only had basic insurance, started nitpicking to find faults. Serious complaint about this, and I do not recommend Chinese people to rent Eurocar vehicles in Serbia in the future.

1. They ignore you if you don't speak English, even with a reservation. 2. They forcefully upsell insurance, not allowing you to see the contract until you sign and pay, which they use to justify the insurance push.
