The car had only half a tank of fuel when picked up, and I was informed that I just need to return it with the same fuel level. Be sure to take photos during pickup as proof.
The rental process was quite fast, and the car was fairly new though a bit small. However, small cars are actually very suitable given Europe's limited and narrow parking spaces.
The car pickup was handled by an elderly man who wasn't very proficient in English, making communication difficult. Moreover, he was unwilling to address some of the questions we raised. However, I would like to compliment the staff member during the car return process—his English was good, he was enthusiastic, communication was smooth, and he was patient. Thumbs up!
The staff at the airport rental location had a poor attitude and were eager to clock out. No one accompanied us to pick up the car, and the staff at the return location misled us into parking at a restricted area, which resulted in a fine of 5,440 dinars.

Very bad experience with Budjet Serbia!
While getting the car they obligated me to pay extra charge of 30Euro for that they called extra hours open office.
We got the car around 23.00 while their office is open 24/7 and nothing like this condition not appeared in our contract.
After returning the car Budget send us invoice with charging additional 12Euro tax.
After writing to the their service for clarification this, they explained this additional charge for returning the car without washing it!
We absolutely cleaned inside the car and also the local guy got the car without any notes or claims but washing outside it’s looks like unacceptable demand!
I wrote mail to their local costumer service and got very disappointed answer that all described above is like costumer duty.
I was shocked from service like this from big company like Budget.
I expect help from QEEQ to solve these issues and get a refund 42Euro (30+12) that knowing before renting these unexpected charges, could change my decision to book the car via QEEQ.

When I was taking car back, they did not work, so I put documents and keys in a post box. Was concern a little about checking cars and returning deposit.
Chose a highly-rated rental company, no insurance upselling, quick processing, and fast vehicle inspection during return. The car was relatively new with a large trunk capacity for a compact car.
The car rental service was absolutely excellent. The car was almost brand new and very easy to drive. We had an incredibly enjoyable and fulfilling 10 days driving the Audi A5 around the Balkans. We will definitely choose this rental agency again in the future.
The lady handling the car handover explained everything very clearly. When returning the car, I noticed the front radar cover was dented, but since there was no external collision damage, the return process went smoothly. Overall, it was a very pleasant car rental experience.
