Overall satisfied. Simple process, convenient pick-up and drop-off.

There were too many people in line and too few counters, causing a long wait time. I previously rented a car with a Hong Kong driver's license, but this time they said it was not acceptable. Despite presenting recent successful rental records from other companies, they still refused. Eventually, I spoke with a manager, and after one and a half hours, I finally got the car, though reluctantly.

We booked a mid-size to large SUV, but upon arrival, they offered only a Jeep Compass, which was too small to accommodate 5 people and their luggage. Due to language difficulties, we couldn't address the issue properly. We don't know where the problem originated. Later, they kept pushing us to upgrade to a larger vehicle, costing us several hundred dollars more for a Grand Cherokee. Hertz in the USA left a very bad impression. Complaint

Forcibly pushed insurance, did not recognize the basic insurance from the rental platform.

Like: The Hertz rep at the counter was cheerful, friendly and efficient. No attempt at an upsale. Everything was exactly as I had been informed it would be except for the fact that I was upgraded in my rental (not a problem). From the time I approached the counter until the time I was driving away was probably less than 10 minutes. I wish all my car rental experiences were this good!
