Initially, they gave me a car larger than the one I booked (I reserved a 7-seater SUV). I was about to accept it, but it felt too big to drive comfortably. I went back to explain my concerns, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. They persisted and eventually found the model I wanted.
The staff at AVIS in San Francisco Airport were very rude, especially a long-haired Black girl and a chubby White guy, both had bad attitudes. Initially, they gave me a car with a broken window and many scratches on the door. Later, when I found an AVIS PREMIER service guy on the same floor, his attitude was much better, and he gave me a brand new car.
I was initially greeted by an Asian guy who seemed to be in a bad mood that day and was very rude, so I complained and got someone else who was okay. Everything else was great - the process was simple, no upselling, the car was in good condition, and both picking up and dropping off the car were very convenient.
