We were required to buy full insurance, otherwise we couldn't pick up the car. We immediately called the rental platform's customer service to explain the situation. The customer service requested to speak with the rental company staff, but the staff refused to take the call, stating that the contract was between the rental company and us, unrelated to any third party. Fortunately, the rental platform's customer service was able to cancel our original super full insurance purchase and the refund was processed on the next business day. It was Sunday the day we picked up the car. The rental company had many counters, but only 2 employees were working. When we arrived, there were 4 or 5 groups of customers waiting. From arrival to departure, it took about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
