I took a taxi to get there, and there were a lot of people in line. There were many service counters, but I waited for an hour to get the car. The service attitude was good. The first car had an issue with the tire, and it was replaced immediately after I pointed it out.

I was initially worried about hidden charges after reading some reviews, but the service from Waygo was excellent. The pickup and drop-off were very fast, with no upselling or hidden fees. Highly recommended. Personally, I think whether there are issues depends on the specific rental company.

I waited a long time for the car and at the return, they were very cautious about every small scratch, one that I couldn’t see in the photos and they charged 180€ for it!! I was furious at the return.

Counter staff lady spoke English well and explained everything but was slightly dead pan. Offered to upsell with full insurance and also to a slightly better car, but not at all pushy. Explained tolls and previous damage to vehicle.

Contacted customer service and received prompt attention. Good communication and tips by email/Whatsapp throughout the booking. For some reason my booking was duplicated on Avis's system. They used the booking with the reference code from the email. I don't think I was double charged.
