When picking up the car, we noticed a lot of scratches and dents that were not recorded on the check-in sheet. We asked the staff to note down four spots, but they missed one. When we returned the car at the airport, they insisted it was our fault and made us go to the counter for processing. We were in a rush to catch our flight, which made it extremely inconvenient. Such tricks!
I was very satisfied with Hertz this time. Picking up and returning the car was very convenient. The rental price was very affordable as I purchased the full insurance package from a promotion. After some consideration at the store, I also opted for the towing insurance at 3 AUD per day. The return location in Melbourne is right in the city center, conveniently on the left side of the road, and the return process was quick. But make sure to return the car on time!
Everything was just perfect. They even gave us a much better car than we ordered which was amazing! Just the drop off location on the airport was bad but it was because of some construction there. And I think I still haven’t received the deposit back but it probably takes time so I hope it will be ok and I would recommend Hertz to anybody in Sydney!!
