Overall, Thrifty is relatively cheaper. It seems to be a subsidiary of Hertz. Most of the service staff are from India and may try to add extra services. I checked Thrifty's official website in advance and learned about the additional charges. In the end, I insisted they cancel the extra fees.
The service was okay. They recommended insurance, but it wasn't mandatory and they didn't push it. There was an incident with the car, and the customer service manager was quite helpful, but I haven't received the compensation yet, so I'm unsure of the final outcome.
Not bad, but they will recommend you to buy insurance, GPS, and daily passes like our ETC. It's unnecessary unless you use toll highways every day.
