The staff were patient. I added roadside assistance plus, but the deposit was still $200. The insurance for this model is excellent; the basic coverage has zero deductible and is handled by the rental company. Additional coverage can be added as needed.

The service was pretty good. I originally booked a Prado and was looking forward to it, but when I got there, they said it wasn't available and gave me an Isuzu instead. I was a bit disappointed at first, but the car looked pretty cool, it was clean and tidy, and had driving assistance. It was easy to drive and accompanied me for 12 days. Thumbs up.

Great service. We spent an extra 90 NZD to rent snow chains just in case it snowed at Crown Mountain. We didn't use them, but the service was excellent.
