They pushed for insurance and were unhappy when I declined. The car they gave us had a flat tire, but we checked and found it. Eventually, they replaced it with another car. The return location was okay.
The service was very poor, with a lot of upselling for upgrades and extra insurance (even though I stated I had already purchased full coverage, the female Chinese receptionist continued to push insurance). Overall, I will not rent from Hertz again.
The service was good, but the car we picked up at the Vancouver airport location was a bit old. Later, when driving to Seattle, a thief shattered the car window. We contacted QEEQ customer service, and after they communicated with Hertz, we were told to go directly to the Seattle airport location to exchange for another car, which was in better condition than the original one. Even though it was already past midnight, the car exchange process went smoothly.
