The staff of hertz hard sells the insurance and car upgrade. I rented some cars in other companies such as dollars and budget. Their staff would also like to sell the insurance but not like hertz. The other companies sold it softly. I would never feel hard feeling.
Regarding the prepaid fuel, i was cheated. I asked about whether the unused fuel would refund to me. The staff said yes twice. But i found that on the website there is no refund on the prepaid fuel. After that i found the customer service team of hertz. They helped me to solve it. I don't think the staff of hertz confusing of refund and refuel. I think he would like to cheat on me.
Lastly, i booked RAV 4 or similar. Hertz gave me the Kia Sorento. I am not sure whether same grade or not. But it was quite gas consuming. It can run 7km per litre of gas. It consumed more gas than i expect. i expect it can run 10km per litre like santafe hyundai.

I think we got the oldest 7-seater of the Lot. Seats full of stains and after driving a few miles I noticed the brakes could need an overhaul. Didn't mention all of this, because if I did, this would definitely interrupt my Travelschedule. On top of this Hertz charged a Windscreen repair of which I could buy the whole damn Car!

Rented two cars, but when it was our turn at the store, the staff processed one car and then left us saying his shift was over! After unsuccessful negotiations, we had to switch to another staff member. We had reserved the car for 11 AM, but when we went to pick up the second car in the afternoon around 2 PM, it wasn't ready. They said it had just been returned and was being inspected! We had to wait for almost two hours with multiple promises of 'in half an hour' or 'in fifteen minutes.' It was very frustrating! However, the return process was quick.

Please note the difference between the address and the location on the map. It’s actually a car rental company inside the airport, so just head out of the airport and you'll find it. However, there was a problem with the address in Calgary as it was missing a space. Fortunately, our local friend explained how to understand the address correctly, ensuring we returned the car smoothly the next day.

The waiting time was too long, taking up to an hour in line. When finally attended to, the staff was very unprofessional, taking half an hour to complete the process. They also changed my originally reserved Highlander (classified as a Large SUV by the rental company) to a Chevrolet Equinox, which is at least one size category smaller. After negotiating with another staff member, they finally switched it to a Nissan Pathfinder, but I had to wait another half hour to get the car. From standing in line to getting the car, it took over two hours and multiple negotiations. The experience was very poor. However, the car was in good condition, having been driven only 10,000 kilometers when I picked it up.

The experience was okay, they asked if I wanted insurance, saying it would be risky without it. But I already bought insurance from the intermediary website. I guess the information between the two sides wasn't communicated. The intermediary sites probably make money from insurance. I've heard that insurance bought directly from the rental company is more effective and reliable if there's an accident, so next time I won't buy insurance from an intermediary site.

The service was good, but the car we picked up at the Vancouver airport location was a bit old. Later, when driving to Seattle, a thief shattered the car window. We contacted QEEQ customer service, and after they communicated with Hertz, we were told to go directly to the Seattle airport location to exchange for another car, which was in better condition than the original one. Even though it was already past midnight, the car exchange process went smoothly.

They keep trying to sell additional insurance and push for upgrading to more expensive cars. The staff, especially the Indian people, assume that Chinese people are easily fooled and have lots of money. They even try to scare you by saying the insurance doesn't cover certain things. Does booking through Zuzuche make you more prone to being misled? Next time, I'll rent directly from the car rental company.

The service was inadequate. The car window was broken. I called and they said I could replace the car, but they made me go to two locations. When I got there, they said it couldn't be replaced and finally directed me to the airport location.
