The car was old (81,000 kilometers) and fuel consumption was high (hybrid SUV, used over 500 RMB worth of fuel for 500 kilometers), which is quite expensive in Iceland where fuel costs 15 RMB per liter. When returning the car, they claimed there was a scratch and asked me to confirm it. After a recheck, they couldn’t find any issues and said they were mistaken, possibly because their attempted excuse didn’t work.
The service was excellent. I arrived one and a half hours earlier than the scheduled time, and it was very smooth to pick up the car. The car provided was an upgrade from the one I booked, which was genuinely great. Four days of driving without any issues, very hassle-free. The return process was also very smooth, and they dropped us off at the airport, so there was nothing to worry about.
