At the Avis Montreal Airport location, it took nearly an hour to queue for the car. The staff’s attitude was quite abrupt due to their fatigue, and they couldn't clearly explain the overlapping fees between the rental platform and the store. A major downgrade in the car (no Ford Mustang due to cold weather, downgraded to a regular Hyundai) and a change in the return location led to no special deal for driving a U.S. car back to the U.S. Instead, there were extra upgrade and duplicate insurance fees, raising the total from about 1800 yuan to nearly 3000 yuan. After returning home, the QEEQ platform only managed to recover 240 CAD from Avis. Based on industry standards, I believe people can judge this fairly.
The order included a tire management fee, but there were no snow tires unless returning the car outside Montreal. We had to upgrade to an SUV because it was snowing.
The staff at Montreal were fantastic. The car was excellent.
