Waited for a long time, and the car was not ready upon arrival at the store. Eventually, they switched from an electric car to a fuel-powered car but compensated with a free tank of gas, which was fairly satisfactory.
Booked a Toyota Corolla, but got a Kia instead. Only drove a few kilometers and returned it with a full tank. The staff was busy and took the keys. Later, I received an email saying the tank wasn't full and was charged extra.
Car was a Kia Sorento diesel auto. This was very comfortable and much smoother to drive than I expected.
Counter staff at Christchurch Downtown were very good.
