Not sure if it's a common tactic in Los Angeles, but no matter what car you book, they always tell you on the spot that the car isn't available, and you have to pay extra to get a car. Since travelers can’t afford to waste time arguing, this has happened both times I rented a car. Can the rental service do something about it?
In my 10 years of traveling through the US and Canada using the Zuzuche platform, this was the worst car rental experience. To summarize, I paid for an Audi Q5 but was given a Toyota Corolla, the smallest model. After complaining, they reimbursed me $44... I rented the car for 5 days, and the refund didn't even cover the price difference for one day. By the way, the rental company was 'Fox Rent a Car' in Los Angeles, so be cautious.
El servicio de Fox Rent a Car fue impresionantemente malo. La señorita que entregaba el auto (trenzas largas) fue muy falta de respeto cuando le pedí que se apuren un poco porque estaba apurado (en general el auto casi siempre está listo para retiro)
