Great experience. The staff couldn’t speak English, and I couldn’t speak Spanish, but communication was smooth using a translator. They provided a brand-new car with just 30km on the odometer. Amazing!
The only complaint I have is that the tires were in just so and so condition and we ended up with a flat tire. Luckily it was close to the airport as there are no gas stations by the airport. The closest gas station is 1 hr away in Coyhaigue or 3.5 hrs in Puerto Rio Tranquilo. Europcar was excellent and covered the cost of the tire no questions asked.

Very good car and service from Europcar Balmaceda, friendly staff at the pickup counter in the airport terminal, staff also spoke little english wich was very helpful due to our limited spanish skills.
There were quite a few staff when we picked up the car at Punta Arenas airport, but none of them were professional. The process was very slow, despite the previous booking. After finishing the paperwork, we had to wait for another 15 minutes before the car arrived.
The opposite was experienced during the drop-off. The guy was quick and efficient.
